Boundaries
Clear expectations for travellers and locals
Future local insight should be practical, respectful, and clearly limited. It should not create unsafe meetings, unclear promises, or unrealistic responsibility.
Terra Routes Locals
The Locals layer is being designed carefully because it may eventually involve real people, paid local insight, destination-specific help, and traveller-local interactions. Terra Routes needs clear safety principles before anything like that goes live.
Local matching, paid sessions, applications, verification, and marketplace features are not live yet. This page explains the safety-first structure Terra Routes will need before those features are introduced.
Boundaries
Future local insight should be practical, respectful, and clearly limited. It should not create unsafe meetings, unclear promises, or unrealistic responsibility.
Trust
Before locals can offer paid help, Terra Routes will need standards for profiles, expectations, communication, and participation.
Responsibility
Local insight can support better planning, but travellers remain responsible for their own bookings, safety decisions, documents, and final choices.
Free preview
The safety layer should remain visible and easy to understand before any local marketplace features launch.
Premium layer
If paid local sessions are introduced, safety and trust standards will need to support that future layer.
