Park trails require a ticket; summer rules can change which walks need a guide. Check the current notice before booking, and carry water and suitable shoes. If a trail is closed or too demanding, switch to a shorter permitted route or Grosseto.
Before driving, locate a signed car park and check the walking route from it. Do not follow navigation through a restricted-traffic zone (ZTL). Allow time for slopes, steps and breaks; a short distance does not guarantee an easy walk.
