Levanto bay

The seafront is a natural place for a slow first afternoon, a beach pause or an easy stretch after a train journey.

The striped medieval church gives the old centre a clear focus and a quieter rhythm than the seafront. Pair it with the Loggia and surrounding lanes.

A former coastal railway converted for walking and cycling towards Bonassola and Framura. Tunnels alternate with glimpses of sea.

Bonassola: village streets & the bay

Bonassola combines a compact lower village and a broad beach setting beyond Levanto. Give it its own short day, with the chapel on the western point as a separate walk.

Madonnina della Punta: Bonassola’s western viewpoint

A small chapel above the western side of Bonassola’s bay makes a separate walk from the village. Pause outside for views back towards the bay and along the coast.

Levanto: old town, pastry & bay

Start at the Loggia after arriving in Levanto, then visit Sant’Andrea, stop for pastry and finish at the bay. The sightseeing plan stays within town; travel from your accommodation or station is additional.

Bonassola: bay, Santa Caterina and the western viewpoint

A three-stop walk starting in Bonassola after arrival. The visit windows end at Madonnina della Punta; allow extra time to return to the village and station.

Bonassola has its own station. A train arrival and the Maremonti walk from Levanto require different time allowances.

A separate Bonassola day

Choose the village, parish church and western chapel for a modest Bonassola outing. The headland depends on access and weather, and the Maremonti approach is extra. The restaurant card is an independent evening option, outside the daytime walking route.
